I wish I'd been quicker with my camera yesterday; sitting int he big windowseat at my favourite bar, a young feller walked past who had the absolute spitting image brows, 'tache and beard of the V for Vendetta mask, even with the rosy cheeks. It was uncanny, it really did look like the mask come to life. I don't know if it was intentional, but as he had big goth boots and a long wool duster on I have my suspicions.

I can think of a lot worse things than being obsessed with Disney. And my guess is the people you're all talking about are like normal fans and don't have $100k in mini figurines and gently caress pillows shaped like Simba. I'm sure those people exist though, I just have not encountered them on the internet yet.

Saw my first Homestuck cosplayer today, it was 8:35AM and I was on my way to work. They were walking AWAY from the local university at 8:35AM, so I hope they had turned up for a tutorial and been sent home for being loving stupid.
