The Jumpoff posted:That is a huge disappointment. In my shotgun-forcer build, it ends up as 50 damage, 14 accurracy, 28 stability and 45 mag size/100 total ammo. This is more or less with the good-looking mods, too, without taking all that much care about stats. The Bren magazine gives you another 20 rounds and a stability bonus in exchange for accurracy and concealment and makes it a pretty murderous weapon. 14 accurracy is good enough for single shots at medium range, you double-tap Tans and tripple-tap Cloakers and Tasers and half a mag on full auto up close will melt a Dozers face right off. Long-range is a bit hit and miss, but still good enough to work as an anti-sniper weapon on most maps. I just love that fuckin /k/ of all people managed to win the poetry contest.

Up to four of the vaults can have pickable lockboxes. Every single lockbox will have loot, either high-value instant cash or a bag item. Which means that every wall of pickable lockboxes is good for about $200K of instant cash, and that's before any bag loot. Doing it loud is fun, but stealth is a low payout if you get caught while still taking the loot out.

You can stand right next to these office workers in full 75 concealment gear while in casing mode and they won't notice you. Pretty helpful if you've got someone pinging the computer to try and figure out the right one.

The open time lock door alerts any guard who spots it and on higher difficulties there are too many guards up front even with poison cake to neutralize them all. So I'm not sure how you are meant to clear the whole vault including the wall boxes on stealth. Without getting all the loot the payout is pretty slim. Their paths around the bank seem especially random. They will walk into places they have not visited for 15 minutes on a whim, so any guard can at any time decide to walk over toward that door.

I imagine that they cut back on the possible value of all the loot in the bank because of the First World Bank effect from the first game, where you would log in to find a thousand FWB lobbies and only a handful of other maps. Perhaps they will balance it out in time.

FAUXTON posted:Basically it's a huge payout but you can't just carry out a couple bags of cash and expect a cool million? Basically. It's a huge payout but you have to work for every step and if something goes wrong you kinda lose out no matter how much work you did to that point. Unlike Shadow Raid where you can (and should) stock up the van as you go. Mr E posted:We probably missed some of the lockboxes. Probably. Note that I was describing offshore (e-peen) money, not actual take home money. Spending's 1/4 of that. Anyways, for hot getaways: obviously the default roof exit is the worst, but is free if you want to buy some other stuff (like the thermite drill). My crew and I have tried out all the other getaways and we have to say that the Elevator trick is pretty good: equidistant and a short trip from all the vault door locations but the elevator lobby is somewhat exposed. The Bus Stop is probably the outright best: closest to the left vaults and good cover. C4 Tunneling is kinda cool but almost as bad as going to the airlift. It's a nice and short trip from the right-side vault doors but then you have a gauntlet of four snipers that respawn almost immediately, at least on Overkill they did. Also, my crew had an issue with corpses and smoke grenades never despawning. Wasn't so bad for corpses (the bank started to look like the streets of Stalingrad), but the smoke caused one player's computer to CTD and was starting to grind down another player's computer. Wee Tinkle Wand posted:Maybe I need to recount or something, but when I tried to bag and tag all the guards there was one leftover. This was on Overkill. My crew stealthed it on DW and there were only 2 guards in the front, one possible from the elevator during the time-lock, and 4 in the back. If you get lucky and use the poisoned cake that's 5 guards total (cake permanently freezes one guard in the cafeteria where he spends the round puking his guts out). Also, the call during the timelock can spawn 3 patrol cops. These honestly don't pose much of a problem other than using up 3 body bags since they don't have pagers. Also, you can buy multiple body-bag drops if you want to go hog wild and clear out massive piles of civilians. Alkydere fucked around with this message at 04:16 on Jun 18, 2014 |

Yeah, those were the pictures. I was not kidding about "streets of Leningrad". Arlingon Cemetary had less dead soldiers per square foot than that bank by the time we were done. I'm pretty sure we went through over a dozen dozers by the time we were done. Also, another picture of freaky exorcist civilian. It wasn't an issue for me as the host because for some reason I wasn't affected by it, but by the end it was starting to give the other heisters stability issues.

So after a long night of attempting various cheevos, I'm considering the following: 1) Big Bank is now MurderCiv instead of ShootCop when trying to stealth it. Seriously, police murder simulator was one thing, this is just kill anything with a pulse and eyes. 2) Deathwish cams are not titan cams. This is obviously a mistake/bug. No one should even have a hope of stealthing Big Bank. 3) The best possible spawns of interactables are downstairs doors, downstairs computer room near cubicals, downstairs firewall computer, and inside vault area keys. 4) 7 chained fully upgraded ECMs will get you a 4 bag stealth success if you start after hitting one of the green buttons. 5) Stealth Bonus is +30%. 6) Deathwish is possible with the above ECM tactic, and allowing loud to hit. Escape is immediately available after chucking bags.

They really need to unfuck the ai zooming through walls to get to you. The number of times on Shadow Raid when me or my teammates have been detected because the ai went straight through a solid object is absurd. It's even worse when you have the truck loot spawn unlocked, I've had it so that a guard just goes up 100m straight in the air above the truck because they didn't bother to fix bugs like that in the month past release.
