It was a bald cap. I could very easily have picked up that bane mask it just lay on the floor by us all match. Great show. Zack sabre vs Shinsuke was awesome, the swords of Essex match was really good, and Devitt cole was great with the bullet club +steen reunion at the end. One of the best moments for me though was when they announced motherfucking Okada for the York hall show in October

If today has taught me anything, it's that Nakamura being twitchy as gently caress is not a gimmick. Also, during the meet and greet, my Japanese friend overheard Fale saying 'Devitt sure is popular here, isn't he?' to one of Nakamura's translators in Japanese. Seconds afterwards, my friend tells him hello and it's a pleasure to meet him, and Fale immediately replies 'I don't speak Japanese.' I burst out laughing and made Fale laugh too. Best meet and greet.

Yeah tonight was great. Think I preferred the last event because I had better seats and it was a Saturday, but top notch. Tickets for Okada on 18th October (I think) go on sale tomorrow at 1pm EST/6pm Brit time, I think well be buying 10 front rows. Too Cool reunion!

In the end we plumped for 7 tickets, 2nd row (£40) as it was £10 cheaper a ticket and just as good a view. 6 are spoken for, we bought one as a spare because I'm sure at short notice we weren't able to include everyone, but I've said if we don't find someone who wants it in around 10 days (when the payment goes through), then it'll be up for sale. I'll let you know if this is the case.

Cool. I might have to buy the DVD and ship it to someone in the UK so they can upload it. I really want to see Devitt vs. Cole. Also Smash Wrestling an indie in Canada put up their most recent show for free and it's really good. It has two standout matches in Elgin vs. ACH and Kyle O'Reilly vs. Josh Alexander. The Super Smash Bros are also in a tag tables match which is good and also Chris Hero is on the card. Really fun show and you should check it out if you have the time.

It was the IWA Deep South King of the Deathmatch in 2005. A wrestler named Diehard suffered a deep cut after a light tube shot in the first match, and they rushed him to the hospital. After the cops found out how he got injured, they went to the tournament and shut it down before the first round was over.

Black Hawk Down Match There were spinning light-tubes in the corners. The spinning was very slow in one corner and wasn't even working in the other. They were supposed to spin at a really fast speed and look brutal but they basically took apart fans and attempted to put light tubes on the propellers. They became so heavy that they wouldn't spin properly

I've only seen one promotion do it before, but I think putting up the hockey barriers around a ring and letting fans beat on the glass and get closer than they usually would, would be an awesome gimmick for a deathmatch promotion. Imagining wrestlers scraping each other's bloody heads across the glass in front of bloodthirsty fans and the more goofy deathmatch wrestlers drawing dicks on the glass.
