What are guild wars actually like in this game? Could someone describe the basic "flow" of a guild war?

Anyone seem to have an issue where when launching SM from Arc, the patcher gets stuck at connecting to server? Seems pretty random, but annoying.

I've been getting that but nothing I try seems to fix it and it still happens even if I try to open the patcher outside of Arc. Frustrating as hell.

Figured it out, copied in extra spaces, I took those out and it still didn't work but it's because the codes are character capped and the spaces took up the characters. :(

It's about time for my once per decade ban for being a consistently terrible poster.
Hello there, players of Chinagame. Someone might have told you around the torture pit that crafting is useless, that you can just buy potions and get gear with tokens.

Those people are assholes, never listen to those people.

As you wander around killing folks, your little minion will pick up a ton of loot that goes in it's own special bag. This is pretty much ensured to be the stuff to make potions and food. It is very, very cheap to do. Much cheaper than buying it all over time as you get up to level 40. There is no excuse not to get Cooking and Herbalism up.

As for armor/weapons/that other crap, it can get you a lot of buff stats and a unique appearance. DOOOOO IT!

I was trying to figure this out last night. I think acupuncture and if the player is vulnerable (the red glow) count, but I'm not 100% sure.

Since you're Splendor, I think stacking the skill that starts as 1 (Weakening) does it. It removes all their armor once fully stacked, and gives you a crit bonus buff to boot.

Anywhere, anytime, except for the hour when that guild is under protection. There are multiple types, but we've only done Show of Force(?) so far.

What happened for Show of Force was basically you go declare to the NPC at their base, then there are 15 minutes of prep time before the actual fight starts. Once the fight is on the objectives are simple: Kill two named NPCs, and their flag.

The first time we did it these were the Feast Master, and Financial Manager. Killing one means something bad happens to them. So killing the Feast Master means said guild can't have Feasts for an hour, and killing the Financial Manager gives them a -15%(?) experience debuff. Finally their flag which is a giant sack of HP. If you manage to kill the flag you get to deface their base with some graffiti.

And that's about it so far unless we managed to do one of the other types when I wasn't around.

We should get someone creative or with a way with words to plan some defacing slogan/poetry in advance. Just writing "mom jokes", simple insults or various racist epitaph seem like a lost opportunity. The best victory would be to have the enemy keep our writing on its wall like a Bansky.

"This may have been a mistake."
So thinking a bit more about the in-game botting, I feel like using double xp on it is a bit wasteful. It seems like its primary use is to gain money, level up equipment (automatically! It's great!), and gather up crafting materials. This is doubly important after 40, since from my very limited experience it looks like mobs stop dropping potions and food at that point.

Considering world energy appears to be tied to how much EXP you gain from mobs, double EXP or not, it's doubly useless to use double exp while botting.

I think the most optimal thing to do is make sure you bot 100% of your world energy and spend the time you can actually play the game focused on doing events, guild quests, and using up your energy all of which do not require world energy to grant you experience. That all goes out the window if you have a ton of time to knock out all the quests because you will not get experience from killing mobs while questing if your world energy is depleted. I would rather focus on events, instances, and guild quests while logged on as I feel they are more lucrative than straight questing.

Also though mobs do not drop potions or food you are fully able to craft potions and food from the materials they drop. It's far cheaper to craft potions versus buying them, as well.

Rank info poo poo

What is going to happen from now on is any branch lord is basically someone who goes through this thread and invites people and invites them into their own branch.

White tiger is special as that will be the one who recruits non goons. If you want this let me know.

The captains are people who can move people in and out of branches to fix things, which branch lords can not do. If you want this let me know.

Second in command is literally "Grithok isn't here, I want to press buttons" so if you got a lot of time, let me know.

Strategists. The only thing they can really do is declare war and I think we got the worse / best for those positions.

Yeeep.

Treasure artifact info.

During guild events you can get artifacts. These can be deposited into the vault in the guild base. Once you do this, we can use it to get a 2 hour buff. We can use other artifacts to upgrade the ones we have to higher levels.

If you get a treasure trap, put it on one of the pages of traps at the vault npc. Anywhere is fine.

You can spend 50 guild credits to buy a black mask and go steal artifacts from other guild bases.

Only one person can steal at a time and you have to go to the hole near the npc. You then play mine sweeper where if you gently caress up you lose health and you can not heal your self but others can.

The guild getting robbed knows each time you hosed up so you don't have much time if you gently caress up.

Chinagame2.exe has wacky racers with prostitutes.

There are bosom buddys that you can do quests for daily.

These quests give you seemingly useless items. Those items are used sunday for the wacky races.

What happens is your friend will spawn a prostitute for you and you have to escort it through the city. Other people can slowly kill it, doing 1 damage a hit, or use items to slow it down. The first person to finish the race gets a special title.

The Branch leaders are mini guild leaders.
