Casting news for Powers, http://www.comicbookresources.com:8080/?page=article&id=54121 Is Crispin Stockely a tv original character? I don't remember him from the comics. Maybe he is going to replace Calista, since its creepy the reincarnation of his love interest is somebody he knew since she was a little girl

I don't recall Christian even having a murdered partner. I doubt he's replacing Calista though, she's pretty important down the line.

Well I guess the theory as to whether having two live action versions of a character at the same time will finally be put to the test (for like the first time in history). I only bring this up since it was WB/DC that maintained that the Earth would collapse into a blackhole if Batman characters appeared on TV when the last Batman trilogy was on its way.

They just aren't going to use any characters that are on TV in the movies. Baby Gotham Batman and Afleck Batman will exist because Batman is always the exception.

Well no one has been cast and it could easily be cancelled at any moment. Unless it is only a rumor, but I was under the impression that it was more than a rumor and that it was more of "we are planning this."

DC planning things is even less substantial than a rumor. Remember that disastrous catastrophe of a Justice League movie they were "planning" a few years ago? The one that rapidly turned into "hip young characters downplaying the superhero aspect and focusing on drama"?

I only ever heard of Cyborg being confirmed as a cameo in that movie, though I heard that their maybe others I guess. Aquaman?
