What's cool about gators is that they're found in much colder climates than other crocodilians. Plus they're way more chill than crocs. Anyone that visits Florida should go kayaking on a gator infested river, its awesome. Though its ironic I suggest that considering a girl was attacked by a gator last week on my favorite river to go kayaking on.

Why are dinosaurs always depicted without dicks

SniperWoreConverse posted:when the ice caps melt saltwater crocs will return to Antarctica It's more to do with their hips and stuff. Crocodiles and dinosaurs share a common ancestor in archosaurs but split off a pretty drat long time ago. They also have different ankle bones I think. Some crocodilians could walk one 2 legs but most walked on 4. Some crocodilians were herbivorous so to most people it's hard to make a distinction. But to scientists theyre all like nope look at the hip and this ankle bone and the way it farts or something new clade. I find pre-dinosaurs fascinating but not many people know much about all the different "lizards" running about before dinosaurs became a thing. There's tens of different clades (not species, clades like mammals etc) and eventually nearly all of them die out at the beginning of the triassic.

Maybe they were like like birds and most of them didn't have dicks. There's a whole chapter in My Beloved Brontosaurus about how dinosaurs might have hosed. Also I love the cover
