this is the worst thing to happen to apple (and the women obvs.) in a long time and i really hope they own it somehow. it's especially bad because celebs are the people apple gets tonnes of free endorsement from most of the time. now samsung will be at every one of these ladies' doors like the 1. say and prove it wasn't them at a press event jobs-style (it wasn't, right? ). if it was iCloud: 2. delete all saved versions of the leaked nudes in all iCloud users' Photo Streams (like dropbox did with pirated poo poo) 3. tim should personally call each person and beg forgiveness. big donations to charity in their names? 4. announce a super simplified and mandatory 2-factor solution. show concept in a press event and then implement in iOS 8.1. then dox the perps on stage. anyway i'm sure this is the poo poo apple execs are working long into the night on right now.

according to this it's possible to silently download an unencrypted copy of a user's iCloud backup if you're able to guess the user's password (or retrieve an authentication token from a user's computer), even if 2-factor authentication is enabled? wtf apple
