here's an idea. bitcoiners love cold storage, and like to think bitcoins are actual money and cargo cult stuff that doesn't apply. so make piggy banks with a public key qr code on the outside and the sealed private key on the inside.

but put fake private keys in 1 percent of the banks, so by the time they know what's up, they will have lost their bitcoins. or just apologize to customers and say it was a printing error that affects very few users. :getin:

why would you do that, in favor of 100% of the private keys being real, and also being in the large database of private keys you keep so that you can steal all the bitcoins

why not both? that way you can string them along and have them vociferously defend you against your initial victims THEN pull all the coins out after you've roped in enough rubes, to really sow disillusionment and panic in their ranks

bonus points if you can convince them it was a bug or a chinese hacker-whale and have them continue to defend your reputation

also that Ron Paul atreides av is close but needs a more sophisticated background and a good tagline then I'm all over it
