Seems to be a fairly standard old-man-CA trait. Unless someone has a flash bike it's the 'been there, done that, want the least hassle' attitude. I push people to ride stock bikes always cause IMO it makes me invisible as compared to bro dude backwards hat on the gsxr with a hidden plate and lovely flush mount lights. If you look presentable it's easier to be a hooligan. Plus I don't feel like a dick when I'm riding home at 1 am anymore.
