The R8 does everything except look exciting. Admittedly every time I see one on the road I'm like "Yeah! R8!" But someone parked a new Stingray outside my place and I just stood there and admired it for a bit.

I quite like that the R8 doesn't scream supercar at you like a Ferrari does, reminds me of the NSX in that way. I would personally feel less like a conspicuous bellend than in a Ferrari or Lambo regularly driving one. Wouldn't kick any of them out of bed though, obviously.

It knows. I was daily driving the 928 for months without any issues, weekend after I put a for sale sign in the back window it started acting up. Still giving me trouble.

It takes an hour to toss in another seat. Usually significantly cheaper to buy a race car than build one. You do miss out on all the fun and swearing of building one so that's a downside.

I'm not sure it's defined one way or another, save for whether you wear a type that restricts your peripheral vision?

Certainly shouldn't be an issue for a passenger.

Point I was making is that heads and roll cages don't mix.

Which one? I am doing my best to test all of the ones around me. I tend to go to the one on 97th and aurora just because its closest to my house, but I liked the on up on 152nd and aurora more. Much nicer store and they tend to have more people working so you don't have to stand in line while someone takes 20 minutes to pick out which joint they want.

I guess I missed this earlier. Mine's from the 60s or 70s--a model 500, not a 510 or 520. It's got the main table that slots in to the mount points around the motor and then there's the little narrow extension that slots in at the end. I don't know if I'd like the one that's got the drop-down legs any better, but at least it's got multiple extensions for better support.

I've never partaken of the weed, nor do I have a desire to, but I also hope this happens, just because it's dumb as hell that this is illegal when it's perfectly fine to go slam a 5th of <insert alcoholic beverage of choice here> which is arguably much worse for everyone (imbiber and everyone around them). Also because holy poo poo there are far too many people in our justice system because of this stupid stuff.

Costco has a version of this stud finder: http://www.amazon.com/ProSensor-710-Franklin-Sensors-Precision/dp/B0064EICKG for ~$35. I picked one up and it's like magic. The LEDs light up depending on what it sees inside the wall... it works really well and makes it super easy to see where things are double-studded/wind braced/etc.

I've never tried that Costco one, but I've all but sworn off electronic ones completely after I got this magnetic one. For some reason electronic ones are loving horrible at finding studs in my house, and it doesn't help that seemingly none of my studs are where they should be (neither 16" nor 24" on-center, often variable on the same wall).

My house's construction is typical drywall/wood, too; not like anything else really exists in Arizona.
