The bears are literally named Papa Mama Sister and Brother. Even people like Lizzy Bruin and cousine Freddie refer to them by these names. The Bears have no real identity. (tears eyes out of sockets)

What I'm getting from this is that Stan & Jan Berenstain were so good at raising their son Mike with Traditional Family Values that he became a Jesus freak who is completely unable to write anything that doesn't sound like it came out of a Tea-Party-affiliated local newspaper's editorial page Next up, "The Berenstain Bears Repeal Obamacare".
