It'll go in the record book as Taker beating Brock, who they are pushing as undefeated for 2.5 years (not true, but eh, it's wrestling), and he's gonna be pissed because it's not true. In effect, Taker has become the one in 2.5 years and 1 but in a false way, and the idea would seem to be that this is going to get under Brock's skin and make him want to have a rubber match with Taker to prove he wasn't beaten.

WWE is so good at putting on shows that I think are decent to really fun and then throwing out a finish in the main that makes me retroactively feel distaste for the whole show. It is their biggest strength.
