his eye looks hosed up

Joe RIggs had bad luck didnt he shoot himself in the leg and also get dropped on his head spiked in a fight and hosed up his neck?

Hahaha Joe Riggs is a genius

Is tonight the greatest moment in Dominick Cruz's life?

No.

The greatest moment in my life was realizing that I didn't need a belt to be happy.
I'm conflicted because Joe Riggs was winning that fight when they stopped it, but Stallings did the damage to end the fight in the 1st round so he should have been awarded the winner before that, but then he did the illegal upkick which led to the DQ.

Such a weird chain of events.

It's no longer a blue world, Max. Where could we go?

Upon returning to the UFC after winning Bellator's TUF knockoff, Joe Riggs has:
*Delayed his return upon shooting himself in the hand
*Losing the Saunders fight after busting his own neck in a suplex
*Lost to Patrick Cote
*Earned a DQ win off an illegal upkick that he used as a scapegoat for his legitimate eye injury

The greatest 58-fight career in UFC history, IMO.

That really should have been stopped before the round, his eye was clearly hosed and he was saying as much but his corner seemingly had no concern for his well being and was trying to hide it from the doctors as much as possible. Riggs ended up playing the game, his eye injury was completely unrelated to that illegal strike

I agree 100% with your premise but feel you cannot count out the stain on one's career that is getting hosed up by Brandon Vera

I mean, if Nog had fought Brandon Vera the year after his car accident he probably would've lost too

The riggs/stallings ending seems like the kind of fight ending that's going to get both these guys released.

I think Collard's last fight in the UFC involved him coming in on short notice and getting insanely gassed but winning anyway

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one to Flavortown, and that has made all the difference.

So this is UFC: Backyard Wrestling right? Because this definitely feels like they got two guys in the ring who are just sloppily throwing limbs at each other. I'm into it, but it's weird.

I'm just glad the Ducks game is on at the same time, these prelims aren't the best. Not the worst, either though.
