Rynn posted:I disagree, remember this will be a non incumbent Presidential election season. Whether it's Hillary or Bernie, you're going to see higher turnout especially among Democratic voters and there is a pretty good chance the Dems could sweep the house. There is zero chance of this happening short of Trump being the nominee and being actually worse than expected. Democrats need to win nationally by like 8 points to take the House, which is nigh-impossible.

Not primaries, and they are whole other beasts.

is there a conspiracy theory based on the idea trump is in cahoots with the clintons? like, they have a deal in place that if trump gets the nomination, he'll drop out a week prior to the election, thereby giving dems a chance to take the house and senate in a landslide when all the r voters stay home? that would rule so hard.

I'm glad we're going to take the first generation in American history to have a worse livelihood than their parents and ensure that SS and Medicare are fully gutted for them. The only thing better than that is that I have to keep paying for Boomer's current benefits while knowing I won't ever receive them myself. I'm sorry, but it makes me want to go on a loving murderous rampage when I hear that Boomers, who didn't save for retirement despite being the most prosperous middle class in the history of Earth, get to keep all their poo poo while I have to make do saving everything I need for retirement - at an unretirable rate of return of 3-4%. Who can I vote for to stick it to Boomers as hard and as fast as possible, regardless of its effect on me?

Not all Boomers are the same. My parents are pretty cool. You'd be loving over non-lovely old people too. You'd also be loving over other people just like you down the road just to spite a caricature/stereotype in your head. Vote for Sanders or whoever is the most progressive.
