Remember goonies, there's a whole forum to read and post in. If this thread is lacklustre right now thanks to CIG being lazy and quiet, go explore and have fun! There is a whole subforum for recipes and another for pets, for example. I know a lot of you, especially the backer refugees, are posting almost exclusively in here (I've read all your post histories) and that's just not good posting health. GOKU is full of fun people, I hear, so spread out and meet your fellows!

It's ok everyone, I've figured out what the E.L.E is. A new weekly video by CIG called Extreme Lesnick Eating. First episode is due to be him ploughing through a trough of Chicken Korma with a Naan bread the size of a mattress. Look out for it coming to a stream near you in two weeks (or thereabouts).

I believe Mining is what they're trying to hit next? But I haven't been paying attention. They'll have to show something beside doll dressup. If they are unable to deliver on any of the career choices, they're doomed, but if they land even a simple version of mining, they'll be able to keep the lights on a few more months. That's basically what CIG is right now. They're living on borrowed time and they have to keep pushing out buggy incomplete ideas or everything folds. This, by the way, is how a game eventually fails. When you get stuck on a treadmill that's requiring more complex and more difficult releases. They already showed they cannot deliver on the mPU being fun. There is only so much time left to them to get the next money thing out, and each following release will be more harrowing, and I suspect, more buggy and return less value until they implode.

the mass exodus is public, just go look at the "meet the developer" videos and see where most of those people are today. its not tough and you don't need any insider info to see a pretty substantial drain.
