Oh PS the Bruins recalled Vatrano from Providence. This is a very exciting development for me, and all other Bruins fans, because Franky V is probably our best prospect and also probably way overrated by people like me. He led the AHL in goal scoring last year with 36 goals, which might not sound like a whole lot, but he also only played 36 games with Providence.

Carlson had a great postseason last year which itself was fueled by great power play success (in large part to the Flyers having the worst possible defensive game plan against the Capitals PP). His regular season was injury-riddled and disappointing. He's incredibly frustrating to watch because it looks like he's not trying most of the time. Not in the "he makes it look so effortless" way but in the "he's lazy as poo poo" way. He's not a bad player by any means but he's nowhere close to a true #1 defenseman either, and that is the type of contract he will be seeking.

Definitely off-topic, but anyone still playing Rocket League around here? I just logged in for the first time in a month or two and played the hockey mode and is actually really loving awesome now. They totally fixed the puck physics and, imo, the game works much better as hockey than soccer. It's better than NHL and I'm really enjoying it (helps that apparently I'm really good at it, like 17-6-23 in 7 games so far) and I'm looking for people to play with because I'm sick of lovely pubbies who crash into me constantly. I was thinking of posting a thread in TAQ if there's actually a contingent of people who are still playing.

Hey RAS has anyone seen any updates on Buchnevich? I could have sworn they said two weeks or something in mid November which would get us to the beginning of December but now it's mid December and still nada. I don't think I've seen anything mentioned about him practicing even.

I'd prefer Matthews/Marner since I think that would be dynamite and probably what will happen when Nylander moves full time but I can see why they'd think they want to give Nylander the better wing combo if the goal is balanced lines.
