For this Lakers team, the only thing worse than Earvin shackling the Lakers to Rondo and KCP permanently for the LeBron era last year is Jason Kidd's terrible offense that is only saved by LeBron which is what Vogel is running whether he wants to or not so he shouldn't sniff coach of the year.

Yes, he's doing extreme coasting. Don't be shocked if LBJ fades in the playoffs while Kawhi energizes unexpectedly.

He should've known better. The 76ers are still very young. Benjamin Simmons is 23 and Joel Embiid is 25. Teams never win titles solely led by leaders that young.

Give them another 6-7 years.

-Kobe was +22 against Michael Finley and -12 against James Jones.

-Wilt was -29 against Bill Russell and Sam Jones.

-Ed Kalafat went 3-0 against Bill Russell. The only person to be +3 against him in NBA history.

I would like to just mention how badly misused Kuzma is. If you can get him the ball while cutting to the basket, he is a deadly scorer. So of course his role on the team is to either sit in a corner or try to create for himself off Iso. Luke had a ton of designed plays to work with his strengths and I've seen them run those maybe 2 or 3 times all season.

You're exactly right. And the Lakers could really use some cutting, especially with LeBron off the floor or in the fourth quarter when AD only wants to shoot three pointers.

Ah yes because we all know that golden state traded for Wiggins because long term they expect him to be their leading scorer and definitely not a key support third option

Such a damning stat that they lost the 3 games he’s played in... in this season of all seasons where they’re trying their absolute hardest to rack up wins.

It’s a shame draymond needed a bit of a rest in one of those games too because they actually accidentally almost beat the lakers in Wiggin’s first game. Lebron was out on the floor in literally the final minute trying to get his team over the line against the tanking Wiggins warriors hahahah

the refs are always up to no good but it's challenging to keep track of what everyone's deal is. I know some of them, including Tony Brothers, get off on not calling fouls on the interior (especially to punish home teams) but really love calling touch fouls on the perimeter. Some are the complete opposite. Others get pissy when their call gets over turned , both by replay and by other refs. Often you get 3 who have different styles all together which makes it even weirder. Refs are all cops and they conspire against good and honourable teams, players, and poster. But i'll have you know that like cops, their power can be overcome by grassroots efforts, and those with true hearts and generous spirits will always win out.

The referees function distilled to its simplest form is basically to keep the game as close as possible without turning the game into a farce.
