The vault has 2-6 mini vaults, each one can have 2-3 bags of money and 1-2 bags of gold. Up to four of the vaults can have pickable lockboxes. Every single lockbox will have loot, either high-value instant cash or a bag item. Which means that every wall of pickable lockboxes is good for about $200K of instant cash, and that's before any bag loot.

Doing it loud is fun, but stealth is a low payout if you get caught while still taking the loot out.

Basically it's a huge payout but you can't just carry out a couple bags of cash and expect a cool million?

Basically. It's a huge payout but you have to work for every step and if something goes wrong you kinda lose out no matter how much work you did to that point. Unlike Shadow Raid where you can (and should) stock up the van as you go.

Also unlike shadow raid you're able to go loud without triggering a 60-second GTFO timer just as you're slogging out a 500-lb set of samurai armor.

I almost managed to disable the alarm on Firestarter day 2, but as I was opening the second security box a fed saw a body bag under a conference table.

I was the "stealth guy" while the team waited outside so by that time they were about ready to just roll in guns blazing anyway.

We made it out alive, but yes blowing stealth happens regularly and is as big a pain in the rear end as getting caught with gimped guns and no armor inside a FBI field office/bank/blackmurkywater warehouse which just had the alarm go off.

I wonder if there's a way to make a build using the bullet-sponge survivability of the Enforcer tree but also the gently caress-yo-taser ability of Technician while not being utter poo poo due to lacking the must-haves from the ghost and mind trees. Tazers are such a pain if you're going all bolt action beast mode with a rattlesnake to clear an assault on the harvest bank maps or the higher difficulty loud bigbank runs.

Turns out the Thanatos CQB barrel with the ammo pickup boosts in the enforcer (maybe tech?) tree are a hell of a combo. Add to that the loco and overkill and you're the unconstrained spirit of vengeful wrath visited upon unsuspecting cops. It doesn't even do anything other than increase concealment and decrease stability, but it's something special.

Right, I have tried & tried and I'm just going to assume I must be the awful one - How do I Stealth Big Bank? I cannot, just cannot get enough guard space to drop the required numbers after the Vault door (Feels like you end up dropping 2 or even 3 outside the Vault to get the Computer sorted for the door, which leaves one on the inside) and I've had it blown twice by Guards mysteriously seeing through floors - One guard saw me quite literally through the root of the Mezzanine just in front of the vault, he was beneath and I couldn't even work out how.

It takes a lot of patience and spotting to get between the outer door and the vault. I and one other goon walked a total of 12 bags through the lasers on a stealth run but I don't think it was on DW or even Overkill. There was one, maybe two guards patrolling that vault area and we just avoided them. The outer door (with the time lock and lasers) was downstairs instead of in full view of everyone, which helped. Then we just hauled them through the cafe, into the stairwell, out the garage, and into the van. One goon was on the roof at that point spotting civilians while another was making sure nobody walked in on the mountain of loot in the stairwell.

Stealthing Big Bank is really contingent on the position of cameras, the server room, and the outer vault door. If you have a camera watching the workstations, you can't hack the time lock without whacking the camera, meaning you have to mask up and probably get spotted. If the server room isn't in the manager hallway, you get spread out too easily. If the outer vault door is upstairs you might as well just drop Floyd through the roof.

I assume it's possible with any combination but it really isn't worth the effort.

We just completed a 33-minute Very Hard Big Bank run, initially started as a 12-minute run attempt, but once we passed 5 minutes without being past the outer vault door we decided to go for 16 bags in our flak jackets.

- Everyone (at different times) went into custody, with the occasional tense moment as one goon held out in the vault until someone was released.
- We had like 5 bags walk out to the street while said standoff was happening, for obvious reasons
- When the assault ended and we were all back we hauled rear end out to the street and took our goddamn bags back
- Bag 16 was a bag of gold so the last guy was shuffling along like a geriatric tortoise and we were all clenched hoping the assault wouldn't pop
- No saws (since they're so situational nobody has them anymore and just expects someone else to have one)
- 10-shell Shark Tooth Loco and Overkill will bring down a regular dozer, it seems.
- R93 is a better rifle than the rattlesnake.
