 Gameplay:  Driveclub differs from Evolution Studios previous racing franchise, MotorStorm, in that it focuses on road racing rather than off-road racing. As the name Driveclub suggests, players are able to make clubs of up to 6 players and complete challenges together to earn fame. Every team member's action contributes to the club's overall success. The game's tracks and environments are inspired by real places in diverse regions across the globe. Once or twice Ive been connected, mostly it just "communicates" with the server and doesn't let me do anything of meaning. Once I was able to make a Club, [ "Ghost Squad" ] but nothing since. They claimed that once you were connected you were good, but I've found that to be almost entirely untrue. However, if you leave it running/idling, you will (if lucky) see it connect at least at some point. How long it stays connected is anyone's guess.

The handling is pretty good. Not sure what some reviewers were moaning about. It can be a bit annoying how the AI cars can just shunt you off of the road though.

The GOON club name was taken by Reddit. The GOONSQUAD club was started by two or three members whose PSN names aren't even in the SA PSN list, much less in a single post on SA. Just FYI.

Just unlocked my first super-class car, the Audi R8 V10, and it's so much more fun to drive than those dinky little hatchbacks. Really awesome to just bomb around the track in, I really don't know what the complaints about handling in certain reviews were about.

Reviews are quite vague on the handling model. Could someone compare it to a past game? I've never played the PGR series, and hardly any Need For Speed btw. e: Watching people play it, it looks a bit like the original Grid, if anyone remembers that game.

It's a tough request. It's most like PGR. Or like Gran Turismo with more forgive, more fun handling. [fakedit] Holy poo poo! Just had my first online race. Really want to try the free version before jumping into this plus I would probably be pretty disappointed with not being able to see all the online features right now. Once they get that all figured out it looks like a decent game to scratch my Forza itch.
