The comments came during a terrorism-focused Q&A in which Attorney-General George Brandis said he did not regret stating that "people have a right to be bigots" at the height of debate about watering down the Racial Discrimination Act.

Being trapped in traffic with several tons of speeding metal driven by distrated drivers who dont have the situational awareness they claim or should have, with blind spots the size of whole cars and the ever present "I didnt see the motorcyclist officer" thought running about your head.

When an accident happens with cars, its expensive, when it happens with motorbikes, its regularly fatal.

Simple solution, let bikes get away from the cars where they are densest, at the lights.

Various SE Asian countries have a Bike Box in front of the car stop line for this even.

Canberra has been great, saw the Deep Space Centre, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, War Memorial, ate at Waterfront under the National Half pipe, Arboretum played Cards against Humanity with people from Defense Strategy and the ATO, and didn't get stopped or frisked once.

Now I'm sitting in the airport on the biggest couch waiting to head back to qld. You all should have done this.
