Slayer from Hell Awaits thru to Seasons in the Abyss were gods. Then somewhere along the line they started morphing into the Kerry King Roadshow and I lost interest. Also RIP Jeff Never been a big Anthrax fan though they did some good stuff. Anthrax is p. cool but Slayer is and always will be better on basically every front. Christ Illusion was a better album than Worship Music so I declare Slayer officially more relevant in the modern day as well. Plus a member of slayer died from necrotic bacteria which is metal as gently caress.

Slayer songs could be good, if the song was written by the guy who died. There was maybe 25% chance he could write a dece song, but even his are mostly bad. But the other guys never made a good song, ever. Slayer appears to take itself real seriously too, and anthrax doesn't, which is good for anthrax and is bad for slayer.
