My Q-Face posted:His bit on the $10 vs. the $20 was lame, But then that whole "controversy" was stupid. Why is the $20 more "Prestigious" than the $10? Because that's what ATMs give you, so the argument is about whether a woman should be on the $10 or the $20. Except that in Europe ATMs give out all denominations of paper currency, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s, and even 100s, so why is "It's what ATMs give you" more of a focus than "What woman should be on it"? yeah, I've struggled to give a poo poo about about the last couple of main topics, but I still get a few good laughs out of them. The AOL episode was definitely pretty slow.

I think a lot of latte liberals are just mad that my man Andrew Jackson is gonna stay on the 20 and it has little to do with prestige

Why don't we just spend 0 money and leave the money the way it is? It's not like because there are no women on money that means we don't value women it's just a historical thing.

Pick posted:In 2014, the Federal Reserve calculated that there are 1.9 billion $10 notes in circulation, and 8.1 billion $20 notes. A fact that takes all of like 5 seconds to look up and would have made the segment a lot clearer. For another comparison, there are approximately 1.1 billion $2 notes in circulation, a bill that a lot of people don't realize exists. I mean, I run across $2 bills every once in a blue moon, but how are there more than half as many of them as $10 bills? Do people just tend to horde $2 ones for novelty purposes? I find it impossible to believe that 1.1 billion number unless they're overly concentrated in one area to the exclusion of others That said when I was a kid I used to help deliver pepperidge farm cookies with my grandpa on his route, and one guy who owned a little market we'd stock once a month or less always had massive amounts of $2 he would trade out to anyone who wanted them for some reason. My grandpa would always trade a bunch of $20s and come home with like 50 $2 bills cause he thought it was neat to give them out to people for whatever reason Aesop Poprock fucked around with this message at 04:36 on Jul 1, 2015 |

Don't people give $2 bills as kind of a novelty gift?
|
# ? Jul 1, 2015 04:34 |
$2 bills are the perfect counterfeit currency and i would estimate most in circulation are fakes because people handling money get so confused by the presence of a $2 being used to buy something they won't even notice it's been printed on a piece of an old shoe.
