The traitor trooper guy really makes Finn look like poo poo. He abandoned his comrades after his first mission and has no problem slaughtering them during his escape.

Its even more hosed up that finn literally grew up with them all too. They are like his family.

This is where it kind of stops making sense because apparently Finn never even got a nickname, he's always just been a number. But maybe he was just a huge unpopular loser in the ranks, that would explain all his decisions pretty neatly.

since when could tie fighters hold two people inside? I thought they only carried one like in episode IV.

And don't tell me it has something to do with the new EU bullshit.

Maybe those older ones could carry two as well? We only ever saw a really close up shot of the pilot, there could have been room for 2.

What's weird is that the X-Wing is basically a space F-16 but they only have 1 pilot seat. Maybe the droid in the back does all the stuff a co-pilot would usually do.

Yes let's just move the bureaucracy for governing the entire galaxy from the place whose entire infrastructure has been dedicated to government for literal millennia to some other horseshit place.
I'm glad it got blown up.

While we're talking about Coruscant, at the end of Special edition RotJ, we see parties breaking out all across the galaxy, including Coruscant.
If the literal trillions of citizens of the galactic capital hated Palpatine enough to topple his statue and throw a holiday the moment they found out he was dead, how was the government not overthrown years ago?

They beat the final boss, that's why the galaxy was instantly free the very second Death Star 2 blew up.

I know they had a working prop of BB-8, and I know Neil Degrasse Tyson likes to nitpick sci-fi movies and he's usually right, but I can't find anyone responding to that tweet saying he was mistaken.

Why don't you go to the beach and walk on the sand. It's fairly obvious that sand has good traction even for a curved metal surface. Neil the grass Tyson has clearly never been outside.
