I've hollowed out a tire gauge to smoke pot. And one time in high school we made a bong out of a whistle taped to a pop can. Pretty tame but I'm counting on GOONS to liven this thread up

In high school we took a large hollow decorative candy cane and put some tinfoil with holes on one end and drilled out a little carb. We probably all have some terrible lung disease from inhaling heated PVC now.

made a sick hookah kinda bongthing out of CAT5 cables, a big ol socket thibgy from a socket wrench, and a watermelon. the watermelon started gettin a lil funky after a day tho so I swapped everything over to one of those yuuuge 3 liter soda bottles but it wasn't as cool also in high school I took my TI-83 apart and basically put a pipe inside of it, it still worked but now if you popped the batteries out you could stick a lil foil bowl in there and use that input jack as a mouthpiece, it was a bad pipe functionally-wise but it was cool because it was literally a working graphing calculator/weed smokin' pipe way before Vapes were cool and popular I have made one out of a battery powered soldering iron and an old jelly jar with the Flintstones on it  we called it Fred and broke it in (we got flintstoned lol) in the movie theater watchin the 2nd harry potter movie and dobby grossed me out severely

Bifurcating spigot? Like it splits one water stream into 2, dunno what it's called. Anyway it worked poorly and got extremely hot. Milk jug bong gets xxxtreme hits though.

This thread is making me realize Photobucket has deleted my account from highschool. The best piece I ever made was a bubbler out of a sipee cup that looked like a dog (I had pictures). I named it Rover Hendrix and it was decently functional for being homebrew and plastic. It is also what out'ed me as a weed man as my dad found it in sophomore year of highschool

i think there's always been a pipe or paper around for me so nothing too crazy on that count. it was usually a lack of weed more than anything - i'd buy pipes when i couldn't find weed. what sticks out in my memory is smoking weed that i had already vaped twice or maybe three times. it's not great!

when i was in high school we'd use a bic pen, cut out a small section of one side and push it together into an "L" shape and then duct tape it to make a bend in the pipe, then put a ratchet on the end (small square side down and larger hex side up), again attached with duck tape, and it used to be you could get a screen out of pretty much any sink faucet

in high school me and some friends found an old trumpet in the trash behind a pawn shop and discovered that a 2 liter bottle would sort of snap into the horn with an airtight seal. after plugging the keys up and giving it some tubing for hookah style hoses, it worked pretty great as a hookah bong (mixed skunk weed with honey and mint shishah- v relaxing). trumpet mouthpiece was kinda a small bowl tho so we ended up goin back to the pawnshop and getting a tuba mouthpiece lol

speaking of tire gauges, valve stems actually make really good one-hitters, like they're made for it Unscrew the valve and you've got a nice metal bowl with a small opening, you can even keep the cap and close it if you don't finish the bowl

Since high school I've almost exclusively used pipes I've made from tinfoil and cardboard toilet paper tubes. I just think it's funny when you pull it out at a party and everybody gives a little sideways "Goddamn that's trashy" look, yet none of them refuse to hit it.
