A certain quiet settles over the circus as the last clown is escorted from the premises. Why exactly such an unlikely trio decided to cause such trouble is not really clear, and with the ringmaster no longer with the circus, its future is uncertain. But one thing is for sure - the show will go on.

Zoya a.k.a. Moebonzo, SCUM-Aligned Grumpy Clown has been ejected from the circus!

Design notes:

This setup started with the mime, oddly enough. From there it expanded to an entire circus worth of roles. Once I came up with the tamper mechanic, I tried to adjust the other roles around that.

- Four clowns plus a magician is plenty of day actions to cause accidental deaths.
- The magician wants to target townreads, the clowns want to target scumreads.
- The clowncar is a form of protection... but if the kill is tampered, it may make town mistakenly accuse someone outside of the car of attempting to NK someone inside it.
- The dodgy clown is not told when their bulletproof is expended, to further muddy the waters about what a missing NK means.
- The animal tamer's comm detector detects scum, but two of scum's roles are also communicative roles, both giving them an excuse if pressed and also causing anyone they communicate with to become "tainted" and also show up positive on the ##parrot action.
- Having both roles be scum was deliberately meant to throw off arguments along the lines of "would both communicators really be scum?"
- The recharger has two strong targets and some pretty medium ones.
- The ringmaster and clowncar are both very likely to trigger the knife juggler - but that didn't happen this game. Likewise scum using tamper are less likely to trigger it.
- The passive redirector was concepted as a role that seems scummy even when fullclaimed.
- The jestyguard was added after Cubical mathed out the risk of the game being over too early. It protects against day actions too, so it would've prevented tamper kills.
- Originally, tamper kills applied to a random day action between 1 - 3. It was made a choice late in design because I wanted there to be more agency in the hands of scum.
- There are several Turnabout Big Top references. Did you spot them all?

it's mostly my fault for fumbling D5, i panicked and pulled the trigger on both vigging ham early and my double-fakeclaim bonanza, i might've been able to wriggle my way into living one more day if i played it cool (but, probably not)

ham's power unfortunately had me dead to rights, and anything i could claim about my self-prot blocking ham would conflict with shwinne tracking me and (i thought) yami chimping me as soon as anyone re-read yami's flip and realized ham misread it as the opposite kind of role
