"Reverse death miller" is reversing the alignments in the prior description; a player who is scum-aligned but is claimed in the flip to be town-aligned. It's not a death miller at all if the player doesn't have any expectations about their alignment confirmation to begin with (but you're right to prefer "mystery-aligned" over "secret reverse death miller" as a mechanic in general).
