I'm looking for one of those "Fw: FW: fw: Fw: This really happened LOL!!!!" email forwards. It involved a real estate agent who was trying to evict a tenant she'd been sleeping with. It was really funny and I want to read it again, but I can't seem to find it. Any chance anyone remembers what I'm talking about?

Sifl & Olly? That was a pretty fantastic MTV show that went off the air in '99. It's basically sock puppets, by this guy Liam Lynch who's responsible for most of the Tenacious D stuff. It's pretty well-loved and was out on DVD at some point but Viacom won't release them, so all you can find really are VHS rips. Sifl & Olly was a fantastic show, though.

I'm trying to find a podcast I listened to sometime between 2006-2009. (I'm actually looking for an individual episode of the podcast.) I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it was This American Life or something very similar to it. The episode in question involved a reporter going to meet with the family of someone who had died. I believe it was a son who had died, and I think he was a firefighter, or maybe a volunteer. He had died in a wildfire, I think, and done something during the fire for which he was posthumously disciplined. He might have been disciplined for responding to the fire at all. I think the guy was a little bit goofy when he was alive. The focus of the story was how the family felt about it all, and I think they had sort of an abnormal view point on the situation. I know this sounds crazy, but I have to find this to put my mind to rest. I've tried every combination of search terms on the podcast's archives, but I don't think it contains every episode; additionally, I'm not sure that's the right episode. It's going to blow my mind if anyone figures this out. This might help, but it hasn't helped me: I just read about a FOIA case (Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics v. U.S. Fire Service) involving events that sound very similar to the events in the story. I'm really just trying to discover any kind of connection, but I haven't yet had any luck.

Years ago I saw a video, the title was something along the lines of "Chinese doctor performs surgery without instruments", basically a dude laying on his back with a big lump, Chinese doctor slices through it with his fingernail, squeezes out an obscene amount of pus, the rips out a cyst with his bare hands. Haven't been able to find it since. Help me gross out my friends!

Years ago, one of the demo groups released a really neat 3d animation demo. Fancy 3d was still kind of a big deal at the time, I think. The demo, as I remember it, seemed to be taking place in a music box, or at least it featured jewelery-box type music. The centerpiece was two figures dancing or ice-skating on a kind of pedestal, while the other characters all went about their business. I _think_ the whole thing was toy themed, and may have actually been called "Toys" or something similar. The whole thing was really beautiful and serene. Sorry if that's vague, but it's been many years since I saw it. I sure would like to find that demo, again.

There was a flash game I played probably not 6 months ago where it was a side-scrolling adventure game. What was unique about it is after killing an enemy, you could play as that enemy through the levels after your character died. The amount of enemies you could be was quite a huge list as well. I know it's pretty vague, but it's a fairly recent game so I feel somebody should know what I'm talking about.

He kept a top ten or something ranking on the left side, I think. That would be Dallasfood.org's series on CFS. He just recently designed his site and all of the CFS entries appear to be gone. I sent him an email asking where the entries went, and if he replies back I'll let you know. I love his blog and check on it infrequently. You can find some of these through the wayback machine. Did anyone ever watch a gmod video that had a slow zoom up of Team Fortress Two's Sniper? It was pretty creepy, as the video was quoting Portal 2, "Make them believe... that you're human." Extremely vague, and I wouldn't be disappointed if no one else watches obscure gmod videos on Youtube as much as I do.

I looked through the last page or so and didn't see it but I'm looking for something really specific from years ago. I want to say it was a video, but it's possible that it was just an audio track of a preacher talking very passionately about the evils of anal sex. Something along the lines of "IT'S NOT NATURAL" and "THERE ARE NERVE ENDINGS IN THERE" comes to mind but I really don't remember specifics. HELP?!

Internet comedian/writer Seanbaby once had a column in the Washington state magazine/website Wave Magazine. Anyone know how I might be able to find any of these old articles?

I'm looking for an amateur pseudo-documentary that's been posted around here a few times. It's the one where some kid and his friends have a jam session or something at his parents' house over the weekend and it's treated like some big monumental thing except all the music completely sucks and the acts are terrible.

This one is a bit vague, but its all I have to go on. I'm looking for a particular .mod file, from probably the mid to late 90's, not by the future crew. It is distinctive because it starts off with the same intro riffs from rage in the machines "killing in the name of" song, followed by a quick break in with a keyboard. It's from a demo set, and I believe it came bundled as a self player, because, you know, back in the days of the demo competition scene. It's a long shot, Nd I wish I remembered the name of the group (my mind is nagging me to say it starts with a g) but I figured if I could find it anywhere, it would be here.
