On the note of the videos; I love how Yosuke's #30 is just do 8K. It really outlines how weak his damage can be. The alternate colors are nods for fans, they don't mean anything more and the odds of Minato being added to the game are exactly the same as before we knew anything about alternate colors. That said, I think we're more likely to get new designs for Yukari, Junpei, Ken, and Koromaru (along the lines of the Mitsuru and Akihiko ones) than him. Or another robot girl.

I pre-ordered mine last night and was surprised when I saw the "coming soon" stand at my Gamestop's counter. A row of P4:A copies lined up above a row of the new Call of Duty Game or whatever. They picked two games and one of them was this.  But an anime fighting game being put above a COD game might mean the end of the world(nah actually the guy told me it's because COD doesn't come out until November). Either way, Persona fans

CT on 360 had the same lag issues, they issued a patch a couple of days later which fixed the lag issues. I have the import version of the 360 version so i'll know once a patch is out for it. Atlus decided to bail out on going to Otakon this year at the very last minute, so there was no P4U. One person who imported had the game setup but not at any time I was there. Otakon game room was a complete poo poo heap this year but I guess that's an entirely different story.

Another FinestKO stream today at 3 PDT. I only caught the end of the last one but it was pretty exciting despite most everyone using Akihiko or Shadow Labrys. After an Aegis player beat an Akihiko player in the finals they had another Shadow Labrys mirror match for a whole 2 dollars. The commentators pretty much had no idea what was happening. I'm probably gonna watch it in hopes of seeing some good Chie or Yukiko players. Also I kept reading Chie sucks now blah blah blah in the stream, what did she have before that apparently made her so much better? Not like I believe any of that crap I'm just curious because a lot of people seemed to be on that idiot bandwagon.

Chie is right below top tier, likely 3rd best character in the game as of right now. I finally found a place with it in-stock last night and got to play it for a little. The tutorial is really good, training mode options are really great and intuitive, especially for character-specific settings (which was a little bit obtuse in BlazBlue). I went through about 15-20 challenges with each character; I like that there are so many challenges and the first half or so range from easy to somewhat challenging if you're bad a video games, enough so that I felt pretty good just getting as far as I did on a first run grinding some of the hard ones out. SS4AE trials are really annoying, BB trials get a little too insane too fast, and KOF13 trials make me feel like I have hams for hands; these are the most fun to figure out so far. Started story mode, which was probably a mistake as I haven't played P4 before (I know, I know), and I should probably just fast-forward through everything like I did with BB. Also, it just looks plain gorgeous. Looking forward to getting destroyed online later tonight~

Although they just announced that the American Blu-Rays won't have a Japanese audio track, likely for the same rear end-backwards reason the PS3 version of the game is region locked (read: Japan thinks 80 dollars for 2 episodes is a fair price for a DVD).
