Something to do with Bill Murray as well. My husband reads The Chive for cat and funny pictures (at least, that's all I've ever seen him look at on there), and there would be a random hot girl boob shot interspersed with the cat pictures (i.e. the article would have 30 pictures of cats and some random boob shot in the middle), which made no sense to me and I thought was pretty stupid. I guess it pissed me off too because he was looking at hot girl with boobs, but I was like, well they just threw that in there. Can't help it, it's a dumb site, whatever. So when you wrote it was misogynistic I was confused. So I decided to google "chive misogynistic" I found things like this http://imgur.com/2aL6Hf2 and these compilations of boob pictures are called "Future Lower Back Problems." http://imgur.com/0nlQJBc This pisses me off because I actually DO have back problems from my boobs but insurance won't cover a reduction so I'm stuck with horrible posture and pain. gently caress YOU. And obviously the sexism and misogyny pisses me off, but that's a given. Oh, and some wonderful comments on the site like "I’d let you keep it if you’d shove it down that bitch’s throat so she would shut up” ad nauseam. Not idiots of facebook, but idiots of the internet. I'm sorry for the Here, have some female misogynists.

My dad shared this today. I've tried Googling about it about all I can find are Fox News/Tea Party/Anti-liberal webpages and no actual news source for it. Basically someone "found" papers stating that a branch of the DoJ paid people to organize protests and marches in support of Trayvon Martin. quote:I don't care what your ethnicity is. I don't care about your political affiliation. I don't even care what your thoughts are on the Zimmerman trial. The fact that Obama's DOJ would organize rallies against a man prior to a trial or verdict is beyond disturbing! Add this to Obama's list of impeachable offenses!

I won't post it, since it's the opposite of the thread purpose. But just to counteract all the negative poo poo we see here: A female friend just posted about how she could see the origins of modern rape culture in old movies. 20 replies later, absolutely no one was a shithead about the subject. A couple of dudes have asked for clarification of what she's talking about, but not a single misogynist has show up! There is yet hope for mankind.

So, I reported a comment for being racial hate speech, and Facebook support decided it wasn't bad enough to warrant deletion. The comment? Saying all black and mixed race fetuses should be aborted for being genetically inferior. I blocked the person so I can't seem to find the comment again for a picture, but holy poo poo Facebook. I can't wait until my smug atheist friends' kids are old enough to speak in full sentences. There's already that one rear end in a top hat who's teaching his kid not only that Santa and the Tooth Fairy are not real (which is fine, you are allowed to teach your kids whatever you want I guess) but also that all religions and fantasy stories in general are false and used to make people complacent sheeple~ Kid's like three so I don't think this message is exactly sinking in but his smugass posts about correcting his child when he makes up stories about talking to dragons or whatever lead me to believe he will either a. hate his dad soon or b. become absolutely insufferable by the time he hits kindergarten.

A friend of mine informed me of a pretty terrible Facebook poster, so I went looking for content to post on this thread. Okay, that sounds pretty sad I wonder what horrible things the other person said? I guess that does make things understandably difficult, but telling people to go kill themselves cause they rejected you is probably not the best response. Well that's just spectacular. There was another one that was just posting 'TITTIESASSCUNTBALLSCUNT' in all caps over and over, as well. No idea. This is the post I was originally referred to. It's related to the recent MRA poster scandal in Edmonton and about half the people talking about it are awful and terrible, because WHY WON'T PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THE MENS?! WOMEN NEED TO TAKE SOME RESPONSIBLITY IF THEY'RE GONNA GET RAPED!
