The Obama-LBJ analogies kind of irk me. Not only is Obama facing a drastically different political/cultural/media landscape than LBJ was, but if you look at the numbers for the House/Senate after JFK was killed, they're astonishing. With nearly 70% of both chambers, all of LBJ's in-your-face tactics were just gravy.

Not to mention that if anybody knows about getting up close and personal, it's Diamond Joe:

I dunno. The 2004 election had gay marriage as a big social wedge issue. That and flag burning. I don't remember much else about that election.

They're also removing some of the more "obscure" vocabulary words and the penalty for wrong answers. Something about the math portion covering less too, but I didn't hear much about that part.

Oh? I'm surprised. Stantis is actually religious, unlike most of the other conservative cartoonists. That's why he's against both abortion and the death penalty. Lots of religious folks have changing viewpoints, but generally not conservative ones.

You'd be amazed how many lawyers don't give a poo poo what the law means, usually when being paid by corporations to interpret it.

Regarding Sharyl Attkisson: at first I thought she might have left because she had cancer (hence taking the big C), or because Ramirez wanted to say that with her going there's nothing left but "BS News". Then I realised that he just wanted her to be able to spell "Cheryl" correctly. In which case - you forgot to give her the E, dummy!
