The Obama-LBJ analogies kind of irk me. Not only is Obama facing a drastically different political/cultural/media landscape than LBJ was, but if you look at the numbers for the House/Senate after JFK was killed, they're astonishing. With nearly 70% of both chambers, all of LBJ's in-your-face tactics were just gravy. Not to mention that if anybody knows about getting up close and personal, it's Diamond Joe:

I had to double-check the Luckovich one because I was sure I had seen something like it before and the fact that it looks like he accidentally wrote '13 wasn't helping.

Oh, that's it? I heard a lot of stink about the SATs but I only took those once years ago on a lark. Don't remember doing too well on it, in the midwest ACT is what colleges usually want.

Oh. So Attkisson was... the one who supplied the Columbia? Now they don't have anymore Columbia to broadcast, I guess. This cartoon is informative! Rorus Raz posted:This is loving precious because Stantis specifically mentions "moral issues" which is just code for "homophobia", and yet years later he'd reverse his position on issues like gay marriage. Oh? I'm surprised. Stantis is actually religious, unlike most of the other conservative cartoonists. That's why he's against both abortion and the death penalty. Lots of religious folks have changing viewpoints, but generally not conservative ones. http://newsblogs.chicagotribune.com/taking-a-stantis/gay-marriage/ Scott Stantis - 2013-11-05 It's too bad Abraham Lincoln wasn't born sixty years later, he could've changed any light bulb in the house with ease.

Regarding Sharyl Attkisson: at first I thought she might have left because she had cancer (hence taking the big C), or because Ramirez wanted to say that with her going there's nothing left but "BS News". Then I realised that he just wanted her to be able to spell "Cheryl" correctly. In which case - you forgot to give her the E, dummy!

The "BS News" is the intentional part. The "C" thing is an unfortunate reinterpretation that he probably should've caught before submitting it. Apparently, conservatives like Sharyl Attkisson because of "Fast & Furious" and whatnot. Lycus fucked around with this message at 10:10 on Mar 14, 2014 |

Do we have some kinda smilie for people who are being racist? Because hollllllly poo poo PURIM is here! And Western women politicians are dressing up. But not for Purim. They're dressing up to please Haman. Yup. Purim, another week closer to Passover, and I'm nagged by a simple question "Have you ordered copies of the Dry Bones Passover Haggadah yet?" They make great Passover gifts. Impressive, Affordable, and are shipped direct from the Artist's Warehouse and Shipping departments (what used to be the Long Suffering Wife's dinning room and living room) You'll find us, and the Haggadahs at store.drybones.com Labels: Appeasement, dry bones passover haggadah, head covering, Islam, Islamism, self degradation, western women

Good point, Yaakov. Just look at this oppressed Iranian muslim here... ...except she's an ultraorthodox Jew celebrating purim in Jerusalem. I'd really like to hear what Kirschen's take is on zionism's ultrareligious fringe, as he appears to be a typical old American Jew who prefers a western way of life over a 24/7 biblical cosplay. http://dalje.com/en/foto.php?id=19&rbr=25848&idrf=997136
