It was even stranger than usual, even for a chapter of Toriko. Very entertaining, though!

Bewitching food land.
Which is in Gourmet World.

A lot of those designs reminded me of Yume Nikki.

I was certianly not expecting a Terra ForMars reference.

Certainly not a pistachio girl in a sardine can, that's for sure! Or a TerraForMars reference. That just kind of takes the cake for weirdness.

Probably a lot more straightforward than armor made of poison, or hair, or sound, or imaginary utensils.

This is the sleeve I have chosen.
I reckon he's been too busy doing whatever it is he's doing to visit the Healing Village. Whiiiich is probably not entirely up to arm-fixing snuff right now on account of the meteors wiping out all of the food and the regrowth mojo requiring the patient to eat constantly or die. And I think the dude that fixes the best arms is out doing important IGO stuff as it is. Melk's tough, he can handle it with two.

It happened like four or five times but the Old Man Daruma dying gag killed me every single time.

It's worth it. The hiatuses aren't that bad, they suck for a month or two when it happens but then you give up and forget about it except for the occasional idle "I wish that would come back from hiatus" thought until you see it pop back up on your manga reader of choice and you go hey it's time to reread it so I remember what's happening!

Nen remains one of the best combat systems in shonen because it has been so far pretty effective at avoiding power levels. Not that power levels are explicitly bad, the series we're in the thread for uses them pretty explicitly and I find myself not hating them :v:

edit: I mean all the manga readers use scans for a certain arc that are essentially Togashi scribbling on a napkin. They were redrawn for the volumes so if decide to read it and have the means do yourself a favor there and look at the redrawn ones because jesus christ. ONE's mangas are better drawn. and possibly better

Really where it's at now is a pretty nice place to catch up to. Finished a major arc and had a lot of plotlines get tied up, and just beginning to expand the world and set up the coming arc.
