I don't know if it works as well outside of easy mode but you can pretty much take down any boss by building a deck designed to spam it over an over again.

Early game, no, they are bad Later in the game, if you abuse Sleights you'll have two decks. A generic battle deck with super-powerful sleights to clear the field (Tornado is one of the first big screen-clearing ones you get). And a boss deck that goes Stop>Attack>Attack over and over for a while so you can spam Lethal Frame, the most powerful move in the game. As a bonus, if you reload the deck it'll turn into just a bunch of attack cards together (and if you have a mega-ether or elixir or whatever, you can get those Stops back). Lethal Frame murders most bosses really cheaply, including every org member. Some of the disney ones like Ursula can survive it because her hitbox is all weird. Marluxia is actually very resistant to Lethal Frame because he teleports around like a motherfucker. Can't Stop what you can't catch. Also Sleights are pretty useless in the GBA version.

Except Jafar was even more broken in that version because sleights didn't count as attacks so you could do unbreakable Ars forever.

I don't think that 3D was originally part of this and that the story in 3D was originally something that would've been touched on in KH3 but KH3 never started development because for the longest time they had the idea that Tetsuya Nomura would eventually release Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

My favorite part of KH1 is weirdly the part where you get to fly around Big Ben after you beat Neverland. It always seemed so weird that they put that part in there, and even gave it it's own music, when it really served no purpose. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKhoB7xGpmc It's the only place in Neverland where you actually feel like you're flying. I say they need to bring back Neverland for KH3 just to get the flying right.

Unless they planned him and then cut him out. I personally think they just thought that there wasn't a good place to put the Keyhole in a world that is basically just a pirate ship on the open seas and if they put it on Neverland proper people would say to themselves "why wasn't the whole level on Neverland?"

Phantom was in the original JP KH1. Kurt Zisa, Sephiroth, and Ice Titan were added for the US KH1. Final Mix attached a keyblade to the Ice Titan and Sephiroth who also got an extra cutscene with Cloud. That is the history of the KH1 secret bosses.

The final seven party members are going to be descending down into the realm of darkness to confront the 13 Xehanorts, who have of course already acquired Kingdom Hearts and the Seven Princesses of Heart, when all of a sudden out of nowhere SAFER SEPHIROTH descends, and for whatever reason you other six party members become Cloud, Cid, Yuffie, Aerith, Tifa, and Vincent makes his only appearance in the entire series and he's Nomura as gently caress.

End of the World is making me regret doing an Unchanging Armor run on standard difficulty instead of easy. Every fight here takes forever because the Kingdom Key's damage is so bad. Chernobog was difficult enough, I don't know if I can manage the Ansem boss rush without resorting to grinding EXP. Most of the rest of the game was fun, up until now at least.

Yeah, I did my speedster/unchanging armour/undefeated in one go on beginner, was quite fun, but the final battle before getting to the final boss door took forever.

World of Chaos made me give up on not grinding for EXP. (Saved at level 53 at Final Rest, reached 55 during the fights) I simply can't do that one without at least gaining Leaf Bracer. Out of the four or five battleship phases and the three heartless phases, I can't even get past the first phase. I did not expect this run to reach the super-restrictive youtube-challenge-video level of hard right at the end. Ansem and his stand would have been more fun if dying to him didn't send you back to Darkside. World of Chaos though... I've never had trouble with that fight before, in any playthrough.

Beat it on my first try at level 63. It's amazing how much difference a few stat points despite still not having Leaf Bracer. I went from dying in 3 hits to not dying after 5-6 hits (both without aero), while dealing at least double the damage. Add in MP Rage and upgrading Aero to Aeroga and we're done!
