What the heck is wrong with Mike Love? He's a kook, but he helped bring us "Pet Sounds". Also fun fact Fitch never crossed the line because that would imply temporal matters such as time, space and existing are real and uh oh, they aren't!

Mike Love pretty famously hated Pet Sounds, the origin of the title is in response to one of his hot takes on the initial mixes where he said "Who's gonna hear this poo poo? Dogs?". He constantly tried to take credit for things obviously written by Brian Wilson. He thinks he owns the BB name to the point of suing the other members over it. He might be more than a little responsible for Brian Wilson going nutty and got him legally removed from the Beach Boys during his hiatus.
