Avoid Symmetry, Allow Complexity, Introduce Terror
Hearing about Bitcoin is the start of your Bitcoin pregnancy. Of these pregnancies, not all perhaps result in a healthy baby (adopting Bitcoin as your home currency), but luckily here, the time is not limited to 9 months. The average with those who currently are power users may have been 3 years (or less, since the delay is shorter with people with the early adopter mindset), but for others it may be 5 years. Miscarriages happen often, but the reverse-miscarriage is also a very typical occurrence.

We have a world-record number of Bitcoin pregnancies going on now, and hardly any births for several months already. I believe that the laws of nature and mathematics will take care that the babies will be seen in increasing numbers. Smiley

The trendline shows how much behind we are currently. The price shows the daily birth rate. I am writing this from a castle that I bought with money earned by trading Bitcoin based on the very premise I have explained to you here.

this article matches up, says there were 500 of them. makes sense, 50 cabinets, 10 units a cabinet.

http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2014/06/09/bitbeat-like-a-hurricane-cointerras-giant-bitcoin-mining-plant/

that's 800 TH/S, or about $2,221 a day REVENUE at the current difficulty/price. minus the $12,000 power bill.....

25,200 kwh/day, which means they were paying 50 cents/kwh.

Well then it's a good thing week hands got out of mining :smug:

I really don't get buying cloud mining power because if you're paying the company 2$/h or whatever to mine butts for you, surely their costs are lower than that, and they make less than 2$ of butts each hour, otherwise why wouldn't they just run the machines for themselves if it was actually printing them money :psyduck:

now there you go again, confusing bitcoins and rational thinking

also, i cant wait until the rest of the exchanges collapse, leaving localbitcoins the defacto lead

we'll see exciting new charts where bitcoins are priced in "bags of (maybe) unused walmart gift cards", and "back alley stabbings"
