it's a really nifty hardware wallet that allows you to securely carry your bits...

it's basically a 2fa slash thingy that you need to poke to authorise a tx, needs to be bound to a host machine and p much acts as the fancy front end hardware for yet another online third party wallet

right, people ask the question "what would it have been like if dpr wasn't such a dumbshit"

non-dumbshits noticed how often darknet takedowns take place for poo poo like cp and would have given up on the idea before ever putting it into practice, much less coming into infosec/opsec completely cold and getting scammed by everyone under the sun

so what you're saying is that there are millions of dollars there for the taking if you're smart enough not to keep a journal of your criminal enterprise and lock your laptop when not in use. i'm a smart and handsome young man, how hard can this opsec stuff be...

speaking of, anyone know what's going on with the guy they arrested for supposedly running silk road 2.0? got taken down in november and i've not heard anything since, not even bitcoiners rallying to his defense

of course it works, you just have to believe in the karpeles

(the dpr blackmail money was actually karpeles secret personal stash for once gox blew up)

A p2p overlay network with a centralized party of trust would probably be the best solution to the darknet market problem. It might be difficult to get your average drug user to continuously run a node on the network though.

"In open-source [software] on a large scale ... The code will be analysed at some point in time and the malicious implementation detected," he said.
