They were kinda okay in NXT because there they actually do come across as huge powerhouses. Also they didn't speak and didn't have facepaint or the shoulder pad things and their matches were inoffensive <2 minute squashes.

I mean they still sucked, but they were much more tolerable.

NXT fans were glad to see them go. They carried the NXT tag belts for a long time when there weren't really any other teams of note. But now there are some really fun teams so it's good they moved on.

But as someone who only started watching NXT yesterday and just got through the first PPV, you REALLY need to check out NXT. It's friggin awesome. Earlier tonight I got to watch Claudio Castagnoli vs El Generico with WWE production values. It was amazing.

Goldust loses his job, Cody gets a chance to win it back, loses.
Goldust chooses Cody as his tag partner, they go on a losing streak, break up.
Cody finds another partner for Goldust, it's Stardust, they go on a losing streak.

It would have worked a lot better if they had stayed faces so there'd be some level of heat for the breakup, but the Usos needed more heels to be fed to them and welp.
