I don't really like her reaction to the way you were poking people at the beginning of the day, and so far I feel like she hasn't contributed much in the way of actual reads. She's noncommittally said that MMT is "acting scummy," but that's about it, aside from her vote on you.

Lumpen, if you take away the "well he agrees with me so he's town" argument, why do you think rascyc is town?

He's spending far more time telling us why adds suck than trying to find scum himself. His vote on somb is out of the blue and he shifts to an out of the blue vote on exact after he's called out on the bad somb vote.

Dude is scum.

Hi, mod here. I was stuck at a friend's house overnight due to getting caught in a snowstorm. Between cyclones and snow, mother nature has been the scummiest player of all. Modding this game has been a learning experience and there will certainly not be any future weekend deadlines. However, I was pretty clear during the first two days I'd allow for a delayed deadline if anyone brought it up early and no one did until Friday. I hope this doesn't affect your enjoyment of the game which, from my standpoint anyway, has been pretty fun to read so far. Back to your regularly scheduled mafia.

The party had been going well. So well, in fact, everyone temporarily forgot their lies, suspicions and disdain for one another. Cake was eaten, champagne flowed, some variation of "Lisa looks hot tonight," was overheard at least three times. Things were going so well, in fact, that Johnny spoke up during a lull.

"Hey everyone," he shouted. "I have an announcement to make! We're expecting!"

A surprise to all, indeed. Some applause and many handshakes and congratulations to both Johnny and Lisa. However, it was clear something wasn't right.

"Whose baby is it?" Stephen asked Lisa.

"There is no baby," she replied."I just told him that to keep it interesting."

Michelle and Steven starred wide eyed, first at Lisa, then at each other.

"Lisa, are you feeling alright?" Michelle asked.

Steven looked around the party, knowing what this would potentially do to everyone. The smiles, the laughter, the sense of calm throughout The Room would soon fade. It had to. He sighed.

"I feel like I'm sitting on an atomic bomb, waiting for it to go off.

Nobody was lynched Day One.

quote:

The next morning, after a casual naked walk around The Room, Johnny takes the scenic route through San Francisco to work. There are many important clients at the bank and Johnny works extra hard. Always the model employee, making the bank lots of money and never speaking about his clients outside of the job, Johnny is called into his boss' office just before close.

"Oh hai, boss man, what is the good news today, huh?"

"Johnny," the boss begins. "You're a good man. A great man even. The finest employee I've had. I know that you've been gunning for this promotion for a while but the higher-ups have decided not to promote from within. I'm sorry, Johnny. Maybe next year."

He couldn't believe his ears. All of the extra hours and time away from Lisa and he was being used. Without a word, Johnny exits the bosses office and leaves early. Let down, but ever the optimist, the dialogue in his head quickly turns to the things in life that do make him happy.

They no good at bank. They use me and I am the fool. They no good. I hope Lisa will not be too disappointed but I have to break news to her somehow.

Johnny's go to for making Lisa happy would always be a dozen red roses. Yes, that would be it. He had already bought her a sexy red dress the week earlier and he wasn't sure if doubling down on gifts would go as far as it usually did, but he wasn't in the right place to think of something new. But as he approached the flower shop, he could feel something was terribly wrong. Behind the counter, the florist's face was beat red and it appeared she had been crying.

"Oh hi, Johnny," she said, seemingly on the verge of a breakdown. "I didn't know it was you."

"What is wrong flower lady, huh? You look so sad now."

"It's my dog. It died overnight."

"Oh no!" Johnny screamed. "How could someone do such a thing to doggie. It just sit there and be so nice. Whoever do this thing is bad person. I will help you, I try to stop them."

She grabbed his hand tightly and took a long, penetrating look into the eye that was focused on her.

"Thank you Johnny. You're my favorite customer."
