I gave something bigger a try. I also managed to set up my tileset in a bunch of different programs, gonna stick it online somewhere for a few quid, see how it goes.

Decided to do an alternative game over screen for when you're on planets, a little homage as well been doing a lot of bigger things lately also mocked up something for no reason other than fun. Interstellaria the star citizen game (in a rough moving mockup http://gfycat.com/ElementaryAbleDunlin )

Hey guys a few weeks back I made some monster hunter thing because I'm a huge nerd and I hand-pixeled the insects used myself. No one ever commented on the art so I'm posting the raw stuff here for y'all to see. I also did a few other things when dicking around. There's even ren'py's default interface visible on the edge of the frame I intend to overhaul all of that with a nice button-interface where you can look at her various statistics, or change overlay modes to use skills or examine things on a map. The font I was thinking of would be some kind of outlined pixel-font, and an image based one if I really had to.

Those rigs alone look impressive Another dungeon crawl tileset. I tried a grip of different wood textures for the wall panels but at this scale none of them worked. In the end I feel like the colour scheme and setting gets the idea of wood across to the viewer regardless. I'm most proud of the little light source variants I made.
