All linux desktop environments are trash for the most part. All you really need is some no frills window manager to throw up some terminals and poo poo. Xfce usually does it but I've been thinking of trying one of those tiling ones with free float mode to take it even further or maybe I'll throw xmonad on top of xfce. Also do all the major desktop environments still have gradients, bubbles, and big fades?

in my work day i use the whole suite of FOSS to get it done baby. i use em all LIBRE OFFICE calc LIBRE OFFICE writer LIBRE OFFICE base. (once) KDEN LIve video MAKER! BOOYEA! (MAN THIS softwar SUCKS) Audacity (to make the EPIC recordings for the pbx auto attendant) GIMP (epic gfx) INKSCAPE (savage sick...) GEDIT (use this baby nonstop) ZOIPER (pretty sucky but alright i guess) CHROMIUM (this is my "fun" brosers. for forums, FB, etc, all my eorsonal accounts go here.) FIREFOX (got my WORK poo poo, 2 windows on 2 desktops) Heres my WINDOW LAYOUT TOp Window: Mian FireFox Portal. Main Email. This is the Composition and Reading Zone 2nd desktop: This is the CRM Firefox window. Need to have the CRM open all the time!! also make SALES and DONATIONS through this bad boy 3rd Desktop Down: This is the Art Zone. This is where GIMP and Inkscape windows go. Sometimes i get too many and they bleed into 4rth Desktop: Hell zone. when something gets tooi overflowing they go here OTHER MONITOR This is where GEDIT goes. for NOTES !!' Zoiper also goes here. Big space in the middle of it for thE aaction Window., Whatever i working on, documentation, etc... What other OS would give me such epic productivity? Hmmm *ponders deeply* NONE!

I don't have a CS degree so instead of working in cool programs I've read about on YOSPOS like Eclipse and Atom I get to use lovely fail ones like Gmail and Okular PDF reader.
