I'm listening to Documentary 2 right now and it started off sort of strong (I like the Kendrick track for example), but I'm on track 12 or something now and it's pretty boring

I probably shouldn't be surprised

edit: the title track is pretty cool though

Bible on the Dash is really his only good song by a long shot and his verses on Cartoons & Cereal. It's a shame he has pretty much dudded out because obviously has lots of potential and it shows on those two songs and some of his 601 freestyles.

Come Home With Me and Purple Haze and Killa Season

Killa Season has a song wherein he describes the symptoms of IBS to explain how he's making GBS threads on all other rappers.

Also, Down and Out is great early Kanye beats

Take Em To Church is so loving great

MR MFN Exquire is a legend. I'm so glad he hasn't given up, hes got such talent. I could watch his music videos and listen to him rap forever. Run the Jewels should have put him on some tracks seeing as they are so so big now, they could really do him a favor.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0ijOe3sGEk reminder

I saw wiley at fabric last night. He delayed coming out for ages as logan sama tried to get the crowd hype enough to sing the hooks to grime songs when he cut them out. Sadly they didn't know any words so this took ages. Then wiley did a half assed 30 minute set because the crowd were all white 18 year olds that knew no grime songs. They were still kinda hype they just knew no words. Then logan sama had some mc come on an hour later who didn't rap at all and kind of paced back and forth on stage then dropped like 2 lines each song... I as I was leaving logan was standing out the front and I said its the dj!! to my mate and then logan sama asked me if I knew his name. He was very surprised that I did, summed the night up seeing as he was the headliner. It is pretty funny that average London crowds are much worse than what grime would get in Australia right now.

Kismet was supposed to be his debut album but his label thought it was too weird so he put it out as a mixtape. The production and raps on it are just great

he's a perfect fit for rhymesayers so it's weird it took this long. also yeah his album is coming out next week. should be worth a listen

listen to kismet and then lost in translation + power & passion. lost in translation is such a fantastic mixtape. exquire has so much personality and he shines on every single track. so much creativity in that tape.

I'd say start with Lost in Translation. Kismet's first half is great but it loses a lot of steam to me. Plus Huzzah, and the remix, is his best song
