Unless something comes up these last 6 minutes there is nothing logical that leads me to believe why he would kill himself a year into his marriage with a newborn

I thought it was well known Steve killed himself. Infact I'm pretty sure I've heard the boys confirm it at some point, I just don't remember where or when that was.

I dont think it was ever stated directly that Steve killed himself by anyone on the show until Anthony's AMA. He passed away, and people on message boards would gossip about it because nobody ever announced a cause of death, which usually only happens when the cause of death is suicide. People claiming to be friends-of-friends would also post and say that he offed himselfCromulent posted:Anthony came right out and said that Steve hung himself. He was unceremoniously dumped from the best job he possibly could get in radio because he made too much money, he almost moved his family for a job that the station knew wouldn't be there by the end of the year, he was presumably let go from a rock station he thought would be a solid gig. Job insecurity and the pressures of a new family are a motherfucker.

Last night circa 3am EST, Anthony got into a twitter fight with a comedian named Dave Anthony (I believe Dave started it by making a DV joke to Ant). It turned into a mini-Jocktober, with the poor bastard shutting down all his social media. I have no doubt Ant will spend most if not all of Monday's show ripping this guy apart. There's a bunch of screencaps and whatnot over on the O&A subreddit, but not the TACS one for whatever reason. Also, Brother Joe was the guest on an internet radio show, and went on a number of racist tirades while claiming to not be racist, with no self-awareness. I like the Bonfire, though they should probably call it "Weird Porn with Dan and Jay". And I agree that the callers are kind of lame because they have way too much patience with them, but the Brad call and aftermath was pretty funny. Glad Bennington is back this week.

Their obsession with Cory Feldman and Chet Hanks is what solidified The Bonfire as top-tier radio for me. Also the first episode I ever heard they began by joking about Crossroads by Bone Thugs n Harmony, they're the only show I'm listening to current episodes of anymore - sadly
