Wagrid posted:What's the story here? I've only heard it referenced. It's two stories, but both are told to anyone who will listen (because the stories rule) by notorious WWE Bully Daniel Bryan. IIRC: Bryan was on the road with THE RYBACK and they pulled into a Panera Bread at Bryan's insistence. THE RYBACK was confused by the lack of ALLMEATEVERYTHING on the menu and tried to give up ordering anything in a huff before Bryan sent him back up to the counter where THE RYBACK half-berated the girl behind the counter and wound up ordering $100 worth of salads because they had chicken on them and that was the only way he could figure out to get enough chicken (instead of just asking for extra chicken). As for the cialis, THE RYBACK got wind that Lesnar was in the arena one night and while working out mentioned he should take cialis for a better work out or something to impress Brock. Bryan spun this - as he should have - to mean THE RYBACK wanted to impress Lesnar with a 4-hour display.

i wonder if it's no coincidence that ryback whined about daniel bryan being a bully on that table for 3 and came off like a huge cryback, and like a week later he lost the ic title and has been a jabroni since

From what I recall, that Ryback tweet isn't so much about "haha I injured you that one time!" When the Punk interviews happened, Ryback's reaction was that Punk's confronting him never actually occurred. "I'm dumb as gently caress" is just another example of shit_that_actually_happened.txt. Which while I'm not completely inclined to believe him, with Punk's recollection of his bitching out Vince and Triple H before leaving, I'm willing to give Ryback some benefit of the doubt. So in that context, it's a pretty great burn.

Didn't Punk also imply that Ryback did that botch on purpose to take him out? Or am I confusing that for something else?

Ryback was just talking to Bryan about doing extra curls so that Brock would be impressed by his huge muscles, and then Bryan decided it would be funny if Ryback was taking cialis so Brock would be impressed by his huge donger. On that same show Bryan was insistent that he, Ryback and Ziggler cast a magic spell because Ryback was worried a curse was on the IC Belt and Bryan thought that was a ridiculous idea. Also in all this media around his retirement, Bryan is still getting digs in at THE RYBACK, which is amazing.

The story was that Punk told Ryback to take it easy on him and that this could be a new start for them forgetting all the problems they had had after their last feud. First match or angle or whatever he gets dropped straight on his back, at which point Punk confronts him and says "You either did that on purpose or you're dumb as gently caress. Which is it?" Add pinch of salt as appropriate.

They're both horrible chronic liars and bad human beings, but its much funnier to think that Hulk killed the Big Storyline Of The Year and sued a man for defamation of character because they called him bald when he is, in fact, bald. A judge may have believed Hulk's version, but I know what's real in my heart darn it.
