surgery was free since i live in socialist utopia so it wasnt a big deal for me to check the knee out But try your stretches and be a lil careful to see if it gets better the next few weeks, if it does not, book an appointment

Rather than building muscle, I've decided to buy increasingly smaller athletic clothing sizes so that it has the same net effect on my appearance.

Worked up to a new squat max of 425. Probably had some more in me but had done too many reps by that point. squats with the empty bar kill my hips but everything past 185 is smooth as silk.

In the past 10 months I've lost around 30 pounds and while most of it is fat I have lost a lot of muscle mass Im basically an shambling tube sock of bones and cartilage at this point and my diet is I eat rice three meals a day and I just eat as much as I can fit in my belly and I do no exersizes except I walk everywhere also I have a torn cartilage in my riight knee and so what are some good exersizes I can do and also should I eat more protein?

Just about any meat goes in my tumtum, as long as it is rich in proteins my muscle furnace (that's what I call my tumtum) burns it just as well as fuel for my body

Switched over to Madcow this morning. Added 3x10 back off sets at the end of each heavy set. Anticipating new soreness tomorrow. Squatted 252.5. Because lol I didn't even notice an imbalance.

So I think I think I sprained my wrist a couple of weeks ago, I figured I would take it easy a while and just do machines for exercise where I use my wrist. I was also sick for a week and figured that would be good, however while it doesn't hurt at all it and have only gotten better it feels weak like hell when I try to bench or something like that.

the lack of good gyms near me is painful. I love my garage setup but I want somewhere with other people around and actual equipment but it looks like my only real options are crossfit or 24 Hour Fitness/LA Fitness. Are gyms are like that worthwhile at all? One time I went to Planet Fitness and they didn't have a bench press thing

They have all the freeweight stuff, dbs up to 120, plenty of hammer strength stuff. Plus they'll usually have fine-looking females too

My first gym was an Anytime. It only had one power rack and minimal space for the single barbell. Then one day one of the volunteers told me the Anytime gym the next town over had bumper plates and three power racks. Plus it was on my route home from work. It was a goddamn miracle. Science bless my new gym's franchise owner and his power lifting background

Re: Narrow vs wide squats I think I figured it out today. It's not the depth that's causing knee pain. But the fact that my knees collapse inward on squats, especially narrow stance. I think the wider stance helps me keep my knees pushed outward.
