From what we've been told so far, what I understood was that you play those segments without knowing the chronological order in which each piece of the story happens, and after completing them you can see where they belong in the flowchart. So each fragment would correspond to a square in the flowchart. They're just out of order when you first play them.

VLR had a great dub and some quality localization. My knee-jerk reaction to this trailer isn't too favorable by comparison, but I can easily imagine a lot of things they might've run up against to churn out a promotional video that wouldn't affect the quality of the finished product, so I'm gonna choose to be optimistic here.

These 3D Models look really bad, I mean VLR's weren't any prize either but these are fully animated and look kinda gross. Also the D group sounds fine, everyone else is ehhhh.

I think Carlos is a cool dude, and hopefully isn't Zero. Uchikoshi also went out of his way to purposely break the letter of all of Knox's rules while following the spirit of them in VLR though, so honestly nothing is off the table.
