I can't believe alleged CNN journalist Don Lemon flicked off Larry. That guy is seriously gunning for Wolf Blitzer's spot as Chief Skidmark on CNN's airwaves.

It's the half-year anniversary of that one time we made a goof and bombed a hospital with doctors and civilians inside haha what a crazy mistake. Looks like someone might get disciplined, though, so I guess it's all taken care of. We definitely aren't going to let an independent inquiry take place or have a court hearing on the matter, though because this case is so thoroughly solved that there's no need to reopen it again, let alone let anyone else participate in the investigation.

Give it time, and the bombing of that hospital might possibly produce future conservative talk show guests, book writers, even possible US representatives. I'm saying that Americans are either indifferent to war crimes, or they cheer them on, as long as it's them doing the criming.

Hell, it'd be fun if they ran for some local office. Like city councillor or something. In small countries this isn't that unusual, for a former Prime Minister or President to keep participating in some small way. I suppose former Presidents make too much money and want to plow that into charity if they're civic-minded, they'll accomplish more that way.

Like Manhattan, DC is a city where you go to get ahead in life, though for DC it's politics and government consulting rather than finance. This means it's necessarily stuffed with narcissistic assholes eternally obsessed with their own success relative to that of everyone around them, as measured by the eternal First Question at every meeting: "what do you do, where do you work?" Some answers are more prestigious than others. This is most noticeable in the straight dude community, if only because women don't tend to engage in as many obvious pissing contests and gay guys are used to a narcissistic and self-absorbed dating pool regardless. You can get away from it if you try, but my straight friends always used to complain about awful first dates a lot.

Dana Perino's account of trying to find someone to date in DC is pretty much the prototypical experience. quote:Years before she became press secretary to President George W.
