I realize my previous post was about how you should just not care about the aesthetic but I am bothered by the ones that use naked ladies as their promo/cover art because it makes the music hard to share with people without prefacing it with "now I know what you're thinking" thanks Perturbator

Apparently whoever is in charge of Blood Music decided to release it a little earlier to prevent leaks from earlier timezones. So now I gotta wait for my package from Finland, that digibook posted on FB looks sweet. Listened to the first half and gotta say it's way more interesting and involving than Dangerous Days. Less Carpenter Brut-ish "brutality", more melodies.

I have the Sky Ferreira record, and was petrified customs would knock on my door about it because she looks pretty young on the cover. It's a decent album at least, although the only thing I've ever bought that remains sealed because it ended up costing me so much money.

Just yesterday I've discovered Damokles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK4_MDtCizE The track above sounds a tiiiny bit like Kombi (I doubt he heard of them, being a band from behind the iron courtain), but the whole album has tracks that sound nearly like tributes to OMD. Some of yall must not have social media because while i would love to share the new pertubator album with friends, there are in fact plenty of reasons why the pertubator album art makes that act difficult. Sharing that poo poo on my feed can upset a lot of people. My cousin has several children, i have more than a few friends with kids now, some are married to jealous people. There's lots of reasons pertubator's album art is unfortunate. But I also happen to think the art perfectly captures the spirit of the album, so it's hard to blame the guy/gal. Disco Inferno is my favorite song so far.
