I think Gary is probably the most likeable character in the show actually. By a fairly wide margin.

Jonah rules right now, mind Jonah's storyline this season is just stealing the show from the rest of the already amazing and competent cast. Jon H. Ryan for Congressman!

I think so - I'm not sure if I still have the book I read the anecdote in but I have a feeling it was her.

So due to earlier discussion, I started Fringe again, starting with the beginning of S3. I'm pretty excited about it, I do like this show quite a bit. I like the little touches like "the smash hit DOGS" ad on top of the cab.

Right now, all the characters are like "wow, a brand new pen, you NEVER see these! it's pretty rare to find one just lying around". When of course, in the last episode, in the first universe, they thought "a trick to save a dying pen" was pretty worthless.

One of the most striking things about Fringe was the score. I know Lost and Fringe were both JJ Abrams projects and I assume they have the same composer as well, but it's freaky how similar the scores are. Do both shows have original scores or did Fringe literally use some of the Lost score?

The Michael Giacchino guy did music for both shows, but Chris Tilton took over most of the music duties for Fringe. I actually found the music irritating because it was often way too dramatic for what was happening before the commercial breaks. Oh poo poo it's a shapeshifter the volume better increase by 300%! Every time!

Man, I wish that Frank was away in North Texas dealing with a small outbreak of the Hantavirus, rather than smallpox. Because than it would be a reference to X-Files: Fight the Future. God I love that movie.

I watched the first episode of Banshee and it was entertaining but didn't seem to be that groundbreaking or anything. What is the deal with the show, anyway? Is it mostly tits and blood or does it get deeper than that?

The first season is great, second is amazing, third is also great, fourth is a letdown compared to the previous three.

There's one or two people having some complaints at the start, but I think the show does a good enough job of capturing Preacher that it's hard to really complain. I had one specifically (The bar fight is much better in the book), but I feel like it's something that they might re-purpose and use later on.
