I've not seen that movie and only just got the reference The Simpsons was making there.

I assume the Rombas all belong to Ray? The others just come over and screw around with them?

They were given to Beef by Ray in exchange for hacking yahoo to remove the fraudulent yahoo personal's account Teodor made which implied Ray enjoyed rough treatment by random latina woman.

Start remembering what you hear.
Gus Grissom (supposedly) screwed up when his capsule landed and it, with all its computers and data, sank to the bottom of the ocean. Everyone thinks he's a total loser after that.

Edit: wrong astronaut

There's a problem with the strip, Roast Beef should still possess a space helmet.

I think I first read Achewood about that time, really fun dialogue there.

When I was doing my first archive binge through Achewood, I think it was this strip where I decided that Achewood was not merely a good webcomic but a great webcomic.

IIRC from the book, the astronaut was supposed to hang out in the capsule (with the door closed) until the helicopter got there to pick up the floating capsule. In this case the door was opened before the helicopter got there and Grissom had to bail out to avoid sinking with it. It was suggested that he panicked and blew the door early to get out because he thought the capsule was sinking. He says he doesn't know why the door blew early.
