Also, IIRC, the engraving on those guns is from one of the many ultra gaudy nickel plated Hi Power pistols than Browning has made, but it's been plastered on some kind of mutant 1911.

I'll give you the R maybe looking a little like an A (but not really) but that O is very clearly an O and looks nothing like D at all. While that font looks dumb it's perfectly readable.
