NeurosisHead posted:For those of you using a VPN to play, what's the trick to getting Origin to work with you? I'm VPN'd through South Korea, and the game shows as launched in Origin. But the play button is still inactive. I've tried both the update game and repair options, but still nothing. What's the secret? Change language in origin, close it. change your computers region in the time & date settings (change it to malaysia or something), re-open origin and you can lcick the play button.

If she's supposed to be drunk, seems fine. Actually a fairly decent "drunk" animation, the only way it would be better is if she had to brace herself on the rail behind her. If it's supposed to be literally anything else, it's just par for the course ME:A

I dunno people endlessly rip on Witcher 3 for its chauvinism when it in fact has probably the most human romantic relationships I've seen in a game so I'm kind of leery of people who've never played a game judging how it handles gender and romance.

The third game kind of spins this on its head and you get some genuinely hilarious moments if you say, try to be a player and sleep with both Triss and Yen, for instance.

Like actual humans in an actual relationship. Or when Triss is tipsy and it's really obvious she's super into Geralt without having to bring it up directly, and it feels lovely to reject her when she makes an obvious pass at Geralt. In fact this is all done through animation; because her pass is not-so-subtly falling into your arms after a tipsy walk in a fountain and you reject her silently by putting her down. Again, the characters never discuss their relationship at all in this scene, but it's instantly understandable and you relate. Maybe some people related to awkward I-really-like-your-accent stammering, I dunno. edit: Philippa is an entitled moron with too much power, that's what's going on in those cringey sex scenes. Her girl toy is playing her for a fool and she's dumb enough to be ostentatious about getting dunked on. It informs how fantastically stupid her plans turn out to be.
